Daniel worked various roles from construction worker to fur trapper, immersing himself in Dene culture and learning invaluable lessons from the land and its people.

He is a passionate historian of his own family lineage, tracing ancestors back to 17th-century New France. Today, Daniel remains dedicated to preserving northern stories and traditions through his writing.
